What We Believe

The Bible is the infallible Word of God & Holy Spirit Inspired

It is our final authority in living a christian lifestyle.

2 Timothy 3:15-17, Hebrews 4:12, 1 Peter 1:23-25

The Divine Trinity

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are self-existent, self-revealed, co-equal, co-eternal and function as one entity.

Genesis 1:26, John 1:1-5, Matthew 28:18-20

He Is Our Redeemer

Man was originally created good and upright, in His likeness. Man voluntarily disobeyed God, separating Himself from the blessing of The Lord and God’s perfect plan. Man’s only hope of restoring his beleif & relationship with God is through accepting Jesus Christ into his heart.

Genesis 1:26-31, 3: 1-7, Romans 5:12-21

The Son of God, Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is God the Son, born of a virgin. He lived a life free of sin and gave His life as a sacrifice for the sins of man, by dying on a cross. Three days later He rose from the grave and will someday return to earth and reign as King.

John 1:1-14, 20:28, 1 Timothy 3:16

We are saved by grace through Faith and you must be born again

We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (His death, burial, and resurrection). Salvation is a free gift from God, not something we can earn through good works, but recieving Jesus into ones heart. Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16, 3:8, Romans 10:9,10, John 3:16, Rev. 3:20

Repentance Comes First

When we repent, we commit to turn completely away from all sin & the World. Repentance allows us to receive His Redemption and purifies us from all sin.

Acts 2:21,3:19, 1 John 1:9

Becoming Christ-like Takes a Lifetime

Living a holy life, or a sanctified life is an ongoing process of obeying God’s word and His Spirit. Combined together this allows us to complete the development of Christ’s character in us. It is only through the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that a Christian can live a Godly life.

1 Thessalonians 4:3, 5:23, 2 Corinthians 3:18, 6:14-18

Spiritual Gifts In the Life of a Believer

The Gifts of The Holy Spirit were given to the Church to build, edify and sanctify. The Spiritual Gifts confirm the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. These gifts may occur in various combinations, typically working together in pairs. They are distributed throughout the Body as He, The Holy Spirit wills.

Hebrews 2:4, Romans 1:11, 12:4-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-11

We Believe In The Baptism Of The Holy Spirit & Power

Jesus commanded His deciples to not depart Jerusalem until they were endued with power from on high. He told them to wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit. Once the Holy Spirit come He will baptise you with fire and you would recive power to be a witness for Christ not just in word but also in a demonstration of power. The evidence that you have been baptised with the Holy Spirits is you will speak with other unlearned tounges.

Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts19:6

We Believe In Water Baptism

Christ commanded His people to be baptized in water in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe Water Baptism is an outward proclamation of an inward work, it is not a requirment to make it to heaven.

Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38

Living Life Victoriously

It is the Father’s will for believers to become whole, healthy and successful in all areas of life. The Blessing of the Lord is makes one rich, and adds no sorrow to it. We believe that the ultimate plan of God is for us to inhabit the earth with His blessing, until He returns for a “Glorious” church.

Proverbs 10:22, Isaiah 26:3, Psalm 20:4, Deuteronomy 30:16

Heaven & Hell

Heaven is the glorious eternal dwelling place for all Christ followers. On the Day of Judgment God will be forced to send those who have not chosen Life (Him), to Hell (a place of eternal torment) originally created for the Devil and the Fallen Angels and not for man.

Matthew 5: 3, 12, 20, 6:20, 19:21, 25:34, 41

Jesus Will Return Someday

Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom for 1,000 years. Man does not know the time or date of this happening, but scripture describes that it will happen.

Matthew 24:30, 26:63-64, Acts 1:9-11
